Kindle Cloud > Calibre

Good Day!

I don't have a Kindle device, but was using Kindle for PC (as well as on Android phone) long enough to have a tidy little library there. Several months ago, the Kindle for PC app quit connection, and Amazon has not been able to help me get it running again though I've talked to several tech support folks. In trying to install the Kindle app again, my library on my PC was wiped out. I was assured I could still read the titles via Kindle Cloud. I don't want to do that.

Is there any way for me to transfer these books from Kindle Cloud to Calibre?

I found a workaround for my issue that *might* help others.

I had all my books delivered to the Kindle app on my Android phone
I opened the book(s) I wanted to transfer. The file is downloaded to my phone.
I connected my phone up the Calibre.
I downloaded the book to my hard drive. The books are still in the cloud if something happens to the files.

Hope this helps someone else.
