On a serious note, many who have not read the New Testament believe that the saying is "Money is the root of all evil." But what Saint Paul wrote was that "The love of money is the root of all evil."

I thought of another serious one.

In the 60s and 70s, the news reader of America's most-watched nightly television news show was Walter Cronkite. A poll in the mid-70s showed that he was "the most trusted man in America."

That poll is often misquoted by members of today's press (perhaps too young to remember), and they refer to him as "the most respected man in America."

too many on the internet. every other week one of my facebook friends shares a viral story/note that ends up being fake. the kicker is if they had taken 10 seconds to google it they would have figured it out for themselves.
