Hello - I have been a reader of Ebooks (Kindle 3) for a couple of years and have used Calibre for most of that time, without really discovering many of the features it offered. Today using Calibre I converted a book in PDF to MOBI format before uploading to my device. The result was irritating page numbers, authors name and title appearing at random points in the text. Following the examples on regular expressions in the Calibre tutorials I learned how to remove these but the Calibre example included the word 'page' which my book did not therefore the result was not only that page numbers but dates and every other situation where numbers meeting the criteria set were removed. I cannot see how to add quantifiers which will moderate the conditions so that only the page numbers are removed. As a newbie I am unsure where I should post this therefore please excuse if this is the wrong place but Help please.
