Page number glitch

I am getting the the page number for the next page showing up in the right margin of my epub books, somewhat ghosted and partially covering some text. Is there any way of fixing this?

To the best of my knowledge, that's normal with epubs.

You can turn it off:

1) Go to Settings
2) Go to Reading Settings
3) Go to page 2
4) Remove the X in the box

ADDED: Your image IS showing.

The exact same thing happened to me.

When I realized this (some days later when all I was doing was looking through all the menus, etc.), I was surprised to find that the page numbers could be made to disappear!

I had page number randomly re-enable itself on me yesterday when I changed books, very annoying as I thought it was a fault with the screen!
