Bartleby for download?
I want to read one of the volumes of The Cambridge History of English and American Literature which is available free at Bartleby.com but Bartleby doesn't have anyway to download. Does anyone know a way that I could download this book to read on my Sony Reader.

Highlight, copy and paste into a doc. Then edit. This takes ages. I know from experience.

Set your security high or get a good spyware program as Bartleby will put a bunch of tracking cookies on your computer.

So what?

Tracking cookies are at worst a nuisance.

I use Firefox with the NoScript add-on, and purge cookies periodically, but I'm not going to avoid a site like Bartleby's or go through extra measures because they use them.
