Change location of Generated TOC
Hello, I am new to the forum and hope that I am posting this in the right place.
![]() My question is regarding changing the location of the TOC inside my mobi file. Note that I do not have an issue generating my TOC. I also am aware that I have the option to put it at the beginning of the book or at the end. But.... after reading the KDP (kindle desktop publishing) guidelines, it said that that the TOC should come *after* the cover, title page, copyright page and dedication, therefore putting it simply at the beginning of the book would not be enough. Is there any way in Calibre to dictate where specifically to put the TOC in a .mobi file? ![]() Thank you for any help in this regard and again apologies if I have posted in the wrong place. lol found my answer: "If you want a TOC at a particular location in your document text, create one by hand."
