Copyright rules and regulations : a list of laws by country ?

Hi,

I'd be interested in knowing how and where I could find a list of laws pertaining to different countries and their use of the copyright "life+50" or "life+70" rules etc.- could someone point me there ?

Or to put this in a clearer way : where could I find out if such-and-such a country uses the "life+50" or the "life+70" rule or whatever ?

Is that possible ?

I'd be interested in this also, current copyright laws make my head hurt. What if written by an English author but published by a US publishing house, does that change which rule you follow?

Keep in mind that other factors come into play. If a country implements Rule of Shorter Term, the country the work is from matters and not all countries have the same length of term for every type of work.
