Hi from Austin TX

Hi,

I am very interested in ebook devices, especially the E-Ink technology. I like to read news/blogs/etc on my computer, but reading the screen for a long time gives me eye strain and a headache.

I've looked at several of these devices, and from what I can tell, there isn't anything out there to take RSS feeds and move the entire article to an ebook reader, it just takes the heading. I think the Kindle is the closest, but even free blogs cost money with it.

Does anyone know of software that can do this - or have any thoughts on the best device for me to get?

Thanks!!
Alex

Welcome to MobileRead, alexswan11!

Have a look at the libprs500 app, developed by our own Kovid Goyal. I believe it has some RSS feed management features, if you don't mind doing a bit of preparatory work.

That is a great program. I'm going to try to learn a little Python and see what I can do with it. Thanks for the help, NatCh!!!
