Hi from Columbus!

Hi, I'm Joel from Columbus, OH. I've been lurking here as well as on the Kindle yahoo group. At first I was completely enamored with the Kindle, but as I research more and more, I think the Sony PRS-505 is what I've really been looking for. I don't annotate books a great deal, nor do I need the ability to order directly from the unit.

I hope to become an active member of these boards and hopefully can contribute intelligently.

I'm glad we could provide you with good info to help you make an informed choice. I find folks who do their research first, like you are doing, are much more likely to be happy with their purchases, and that's the important bit: that each person find what works for their needs.

I just got a Sony 505, after MUCH research, and really like it. Like you, I don't need the a lot of the features of the Kindle
