New - Hey!
Just taking a moment to introduce myself. My name is Ashley, and I just recently started looking into and playing around with the ePub format.

I created a fixed-layout ePub (a book of experimental form poetry) for iBooks, and then I converted it into the KF8 format to sell on Amazon. I did the layout in InDesign and hand coded in DreamWeaver. Long, long process. Hopefully I'll be able to learn some tips from you guys and girls on how to make that process better.

Will probably be hitting the boards up soon looking for help with the ePub3 format as I might need to use those specs for an upcoming work project.

Hello Ashley, welcome. I have wanted to turn all my mobile stories into ePub3 but have not find the time to do so yet. I've got info from folks on this forum on the file format etc. I just need to write a program to convert my html5 files to ePub. So, definitely I'll look for your contribution on this forum. Once again, welcome onboard!
