Books To Give Away

I recently acquired the family summer house and am cleaning out the library. These are very old books -- several pre-1923, some with no copyright date and a couple of others from the 20's/30's.

I made some quick notes on several and would be willing to ship the books free to anyone that would like to digitize them. Most are in fair condition with some slight damage. I'll be visiting again at the end of November and December and will catalog the remaining dozen or so books at that time. Any books not requested by the beginning of 2013 will be given back to the antique store where my family originally purchased them.

Unless noted, these are hardback books and most have an illustrated frontispeice.

By Janet D. Wheeler -- Copyright 1920
"Billy Bradley and Her Inheritance
Or
The Queer Homestead at Cherry Corners"

By Thos. W. Jackson -- Copyright 1903, illustrated, very poor condition, soft cover
Subject matter may be objectionable, but historically interesting/significant. Only request this if you intend to digitize and distribute. Destroying it outright won't protect us from the past.
"On a Slow Train Through Arkansaw
Funny Railroad Stories--Sayings of the Southern Darkies--All The Latest and Best Minstrel Jokes of the Day"

By Everett T. Tomlinson -- Copyright 1899
"A Jersey Boy in the Revolution"

By Everett T. Tomlinson -- Copyright 1900
"In The Hands of The Redcoats
A Tale of the Jersey Ship and the Jersey Shore in the Days of the Revolution"

and
John Clark Ridpath, LL.D.
and

-- No copyright indicated
"True Stories of Our Pioneers"

By Alfred Raymond -- Copyright 1917
"Harry Harding's Year of Promise"

I'm donating these books without any guarantee as to the current copyright status. Please check your local laws before distributing any digitized version. I'll be happy to answer any specific questions about the books. Since these are still at my summer house, I don't have immediate access to them and answers will be delayed.
