Hi

I'm from Dublin. I discovered this forum a few months ago. I have been reading it nearly every day. I think I have become a Mobileread addict. I'm a complete novice when it comes to computers etc. However I have learned quite a bit about the various eReader devices out there through this wonderful forum. I finally chose the Bookeen CYbook. Ordered it before Christmas, and am awaiting delivery. Can't wait to get started. No doubt I shall be asking for your help at some state in the not too distant future.

It seems strange you should be the first to welcome me to the forum.
You were the person who helped me decide on the CYBook Gen3. I shall be using it strictly as a reading device only. So I think I have chosen well. Time will tell as they say.

Hi MaggieMay and welcome to the Forum. Been to Ireland a time or two (used to live in Beds in the UK). Are ebooks popular in Ireland?

Thanks for the welcome. I don't really know just how popular eBooks or eReaders are here in Ireland. I do know that the main stores here didn't have a clue what I was talking about when I first went in search of one. Couldn't even get any type of hand held device either. I suppose I could have gotten an iLiad but it was a little too expensive. I just wanted a basic eReader. Hope I don't have to wait too much longer for my CYgen3.
