Authorizing

I can not authorize my PRS500 on Vista
I receive ERROR CODE:3-013
I have reinstalled the software and Hard reset the 500.
I purchased a book before I authorized it now I can only read it on the computer.
I did some searching but found nothing.
Can't even find a support # for Sony, only email
Any help would be appreciated

It was a reconditioned model so it was register to another person, Sony corrected that now it works....

When my wife had a 500 I had a 500 we had two different accounts. I did take her 500 and authorized it to my account and I was allowed to do so. And by doing so unregistered it to the her account. Registering it back to her account unregistered it to my account. That was before we went for one account to be able to share eBooks.

Odd that is did not work that way for you. Maybe it was because the original account was no longer (just a guess)?
