Stupid Question: Kaffiene for my K5?

How do I stop the k5 from dropping to screensaver?

I am very tired at the moment, you don't want to read the first three things that came to mind.

Hmm...
There has to be a timer of some sort in there . . . .
I think I recall some threads / posts here where people figured out how to extend the time . . . .
Maybe if you could stumble onto those old threads, there would be hints there.

The easiest way, and really functional, is going to home screen (list of books) and, in the search bar, type "~ds" (without quotes) and press enter. The Kindle Touch will not sleep until you restart it (menu > settings > restart).

It might be enough.

"ds" must be short for "disable screensaver". That should be easy to remember.

"Another helpful strategy is to extract all jars into a common directory, so you can grep etc. on the files."

lipc-probe -a -v 2>/dev/null | grep -i '\(^com\)\|\(Scan\)' = more shiny
