Anyone have Dingo (1.6) for EE?
I can't seem to find a working download for the last official (well... any, really) release of Android 1.6/Dingo for the 10" EE. Everything I do on it runs fine on 1.6 and the permanently glowing trackball that 2.2 gives you is driving me bonkers. I REALLY want to downgrade

soooo... Has anyone ever successfully downgraded an EE to 1.6? I just tried and it flashed the updating screen for like 2 seconds then rebooted. It wiped the update.zip file from the sd card, too.

Done it many times. Have you actually read the update instructions? You have to do it twice. First it freezes while in the "Updating" screen. Then you have to pull the battery and go one more time. Only for the second time does it come through.

It is working now. I had forgotten about that. I haven't done it in ages and, no, I didn't read the update instructions because I knew how to start the update and I didn't think about any issues.

OK. yeah. 1.6 is terrible and slow and awful on the eDGe. Went back to 2.2
