PRS-T2 stuck on opening book!

Hi there,

Just last week I unpacked my brand new PRS-T2. Today I connected it to my USB of my MacBook Pro to put some books on it with the reader software.

The reader software said a new update was available 1.005.12140 (EU), so I read the release notes on http://www.sony.nl/support/nl/produc...v1005_12140_EU
and just went ahead.

It downloaded the update and did it's 'thing'.

After a few minutes it went into the boot state 'opening book' but it does not do anthing anymore. The reset procedure keeps ending in the same screen.

I connected it to a windows system, but it is not recognized there. And the same screen.

I search the Internet and this forum, but I could not find anything related specifically to the T2.

I tried hard en soft resets but it does not work.
It can not power it down.
As of my knowing it was fully charged.

Any thoughts someone ?

Hi There!

Found my solution.
I put an extra SD card in earlier.
I just removed it and it boots again.
The SD card seems to be broken (i just checked).

Duh.... Well that solved it.
