Unable to sync from i'm reading (website to desktop

I have deleted by accident "The girl who played with fire" from my desktop and "I'm reading" on the website. Now when I want to put it back on my desktop, I am unable to get it to stay in the "I'm reading", on the website after I have ticked the box next to it in the "purchased" list. It appears on the "I'm reading" list but I am unable to get it to the kobo desktop using the sync button, also when I move to another webpage and go back to my library on the kobo website it has removed itself from the "I'm reading" list.

I am using the 20th July 2012 version of the desktop, and the latest version of the firmware.

Any help in getting this book to be recognised by the desktop would be much appreciated.

Have you tried a logout from the Kobo Desktop application? This will totally empty the database, so when yoiu sign back in to the desktop it will readd all books.

PeterT,

Thank you for that advise, the book is now on my desktop and the ereader. I had previously tried logging out of the website, but not the desktop.

Do you have any idea how to get the kobo to show how much of a book you have read (it works with some, but not all).

Thanks
