Kindle. Or anything with a Kindle app.

Because that's what Synamon owns.

The answers you'll get will be based on what people own. If I was answering, I'd say Sony Reader Wifi PRS-T1.

If Instapaper can output in ePub, then my answer stands.

Instapaper can use Amazon's Personal Document Service to automatically email content that will download wirelessly to your Kindle.

With any other eReader you will have to manually download the content from Instapaper to your computer, hook up your USB cable, and then sideload the file to your eReader. Or I believe you can set up a newsfeed push using calibre to do the first step for you.

If you can use Instapaper to put the ePub on any site, a T1 can access that wirelessly and download it to the T1 for reading, no USB or computer needed.

How do you use Instapaper now, toronado?

My definition of "best" in this case means automating the process, your definition may be different. You might want the eReader with the best browser so you can access the Instapaper webpage or you might even be asking about tablets rather than eink readers, in which case the iPad would be best since Instapaper is an iPhone/iPad app. The developer of Instapaper uses a Kindle so he's optimized the process for Kindle, even organizing the Instapaper downloads like magazine articles that automatically archive so you don't have to do any organizing yourself.

If anyone reading this thread is interested in setting up Instapaper for their Kindle, this blog post walks you through the set up process and shows you how it works. It really is a neat trick and I use it all the time to save long blog posts and articles to my Kindle so I can read them later.

maybe my question is naive, as I am new to Instapaper, but if I understand correctly the problem is that with no e-ink browser you can currently access Instapaper directly, as it is not possible to put the javascript "Read later" button as a bookmark that works (well, at least I couldn't).

But then, along the lines of what JSWolf is suggestion, if you save your pages when browsing on your PC, can you not the access your Instapaper account wirelessly and then access whatever is that you saved to read later? At least, this seems to be working on my ereader.

As you say, Instapaper isn't meant for bookmarking things from your eReader, but for bookmarking sites when you are browsing the internet from your computer. If you are happy going to the Instapaper website using your eReader and navigating the site to access what you've saved with your eReader's browser, then that's a good workaround for you, but browsers on most eReaders are awkward to use.

When I use Instapaper I never visit the Instapaper website. I bookmark what I want to read later while browsing on my computer and Instapaper sends those pages directly to my Kindle via email automatically.

I see - so unless there is some hack, from the Instapaper site it looks like they've got apps for wireless delivery to the reader only for Kindle and the Apple devices.
