Search & Replace CSS file
Search and Replace seems to work only on HTML files. Can it be made to work on the CSS file? eg stylesheet.css
Many thanks Michael |

Hi theducks
Thanks for thought will have a look at Sigil. Pity as with calibre on convert it will > unpack > do search and replace on all the HTML files > then repack. Don't know if Sigil can do the same on the CSS files? Thanks Michael |

Hi theducks
Thanks for further comments that Sigil can do it. I use W7 and could not find any reference to Tweway. Could you please expand the instructions? Thanks Michael |

Also keep in mind that you may be able to accomplish what you want with the "Extra CSS" and the "Filter CSS" tabs found in the "Look and Feel" section of the Convert dialog. Maybe not quite as straight-forward as S&R, but certainly possible for fairly simple changes.

Hi DiapDealer
Thanks for the tip to use Look & Feel. However I can't get it to work! Can you tell me what I am doing wrong please? Wish to change "font-size: 1em;" to "font-size: 1.1em;" in stylesheet.css. Open up convert epub to epub in calibre > Look & Feel > tried in "Filter style information" Tried ticking remove font-size: 1em; and put in extra CSS font-size: 1.1em; remains unchanged Tried ticking remove fonts only but font-size: 1em; remains unchanged. Tried putting font-size: 1em; in "other CSS properties and in remains as is. Can you show me what I am doing wrong? Thanks Michael |
