Filibustering: A Political History of Obstruction in the House and Senate ($6.84 Kindle)by Gregory Koger is free from Univ of Chicago Press. Their books are almost always ADE DRM'd PDFs and I expect this one to be the same.

Can't seem to get anywhere with this one; every time I enter my e-mail address I get an error message. Anyone else having problems getting this book or is it me?

When I tried yesterday to download the book (I was using the link I got from Univ of Chicago Press email, but I assume it's the same with the one koland provided), I got a message that there is a problem with their page and to try later. Today, the page doesn't exist anymore, so I assume they are trying to fix the problem.

I downloaded ok (i think, let me go check ... computer was in million pieces most of yesterday, so still behind on a lot of things).

Yes, it downloaded fine, about the same time as I posted the links. 241 pages, PDF

I got the email at 1:30PM, and I tried to download it for first time perhaps 10-15 min later.

Yes, the page is hosed right now (error last night, now 404 today). It's live for the entire month of August, so hopefully they will get it sorted out by then.
