Thumbs up Hebrew on the Kindle 4NT!
It's possible to read Hebrew .mobi files on the the Kindle 4NT (V4.1.0).
I believe that this method is working also on the other new devices.

All you need is an ePub file that is in Hebrew and the Kindle Previewer.
Open the ePub in the previewer - and get a a mobi file.
This file is working perfectly on the Kindle.

Actually it is not a .mobi but an azw3(KF8) file. You cannot use this format with the previous Kindle versions; ie K3, KDX, K2,... (at least for now)

Yes, KF8 supports RTL languages. This has been known since the format first appeared.

I took an ePub 3 sample with vertical Japanese text and ran it through kindlegen. Some issues (which they'll need to fix for Japan launch), but pretty close to working.
