autoconvert/add problem?

I have enabled auto_add and checked automatic convert. When I add multiple books to the directory I have designated to be the automatic add directory the last book added never completes the conversion. I have to manually stop the job. After stopping the job if I start another conversion without shutting down and restarting Calibre that job will run forever unless it is manually halted .

I an running Fedora 15 and auto-converting to epub. The input format is usually epub and sometimes mobi.

This is a longstanding bug on some linux systems that no one has ever been able to track down, and that I have never been able to reproduce. Just google for calibre linux last job

After going to 0.8.58 the problem seems to have disappeared.

There were some changes to the handling of EINTR in 0.8.58 that may be the cause, if so, great.
