...is an eshort. Link to Amazon, no doubt its available elsewhere. I'm surprised it doesn't have "Kindle Single" plastered all over it.

That's because Kindle Singles are an imprint of Amazon and requires more redtape than normally self-publishing on the Kindle. This one is published by Anchor.

Looking forward to Straub's book though.

They have it on Mile 81 and Throttle, published by S&S and Harper Collins respectively. Seems like they just slap it on any e-short.
