Link formatting

When publishing to Kindle, is it possible to remove the underline on hyperlinks, as I can on websites? I formatted the a link in my .css file, but that didn't do it...

If you have links for every ToC header to link back to the ToC, the solution is to just remove all those useless links. As long as the spine as a ToC link, you don't need every ToC header linked back to the ToC.

Apologies, but I don't understand this reply. My TOC functions just fine and I neither need nor have links returning people from the text to the TOC. I am concerned only with the appearance of the TOC: I want to remove the underlining.

I don't know if you can remove the underlines from links on a Kindle.

using text-decoration:none in the CSS works in the KF8 partition when compiled using KindleGen or Kindle Previewer. The classic MOBI partition still displays underlined.
