PRS-300 Metadata

While using Calibre to update my metadata information, it places the Title and Author on the same line on my PRS-300. I noticed when I downloaded a couple of free ebooks from Amazon that it placed the author's name in a smaller font size underneath the title. Is there a way I can get it to utilize that line?

I'm confused, I have the 505 and I thought our screens were the about the same. I attached a screen shot of my Classics Collection page. All authors are in small print in a second line, but right justified. All of these books were processed using Calibre and the metadata is accurate. But even lrx books bought from Sony showed up this way.

Do you use Calibre's send to device to transfer your files to your 300?

Maybe you could clarify what you're seeing.

Which file format are you using? My guess would be TXT, because TXT does not hold metadata and it is reasonable to expect that the first line will be shown instead of metadata-title and metadata-author of other formats.
