Hello from Sandusky Ohio

I received a Sony Reader 505 for Christmas and, as an avid reader, am having a ball. I read the threads about deleting the factory installed excerpts, but my problem is that the excerpts don't show up in my library. How do I get them to show so that I can delete them?
