Is it possible??
Is it possible to transfar books from the cloud directly to your personal document folder in "manage your kindle"? Or do you have to upload the books in question via your kindle email in order to do it? I've noted that if I have emailed a document to my kindle address it does show up in my personal documents on the manage your kindle page, so I can re-download it again later if I need to, but that also sends every document that I email to my Kindle 3 as well which could be a problem if I don't want a # of books/documents downloading next time I turn my wi-fi on. I was just wondering if there is a simple way to do it so you could transfer books or documents from the cloud to your Personal Documents on the page for managing your kindle so you could just download those you wanted like a regular Amazon book.

The new Send to Kindle program (for PC or Mac) has the option to send personal documents to your Kindle Library (cloud) without having to send it to any of your devices.

Guess I'm not the only one who wanted a simple way to do such things with the kindle if they designed an app for it. ![]() |

I did discover the program does have a limit. I wanted to upload my copies of Harvard Classics to my Kindle library and tried to select all of them at once. Apparently the program can only load about 25 files maximum at a time. Generally I don't think that should be much of a problem myself since most times I don't imagine most of us need to upload a large # of files at one time anyway. I had to break the 50 books into several chunks in order to upload them though. I like having my books accessible via my Kindle Library though since then I don't have to have my USB cable connecting my Kindle 3 to anything in order to load a book to the reader.
