Bargain Nook - Donna Leon Death at La Fenice

Currently Barnes and Noble are featuring Donna Leon's Death at La Fenice it's on offer for 99c I'm not sure for how long it will be available they used to run them for a month but I think thats changed. This is the first in her Guido Brunetti Series, the 21st in the series has just been released.

Quote:
Beautiful and serene Venice is a city almost devoid of crime. But that is little comfort to Maestro Helmut Wellauer, a world-renowned conductor whose intermission refreshment comes one night with a little something extra in it-cyanide. For Guido Brunetti, vice-commissario of police and detective genius, finding a suspect isn't a problem; narrowing the large and unconventional group of enemies down to one is. As the suave and pithy Brunetti pieces together clues, a shocking picture of depravity and revenge emerges, leaving him torn between what is and what should be right — and questioning what the law can do, and what needs to be done

Thanks for posting that, I did try and check that before posting but Amazon refused to show it to me as it's Geo locked for Aussies.

Amazon's price matches of B&N tend to be US only. It's full price for Canadians.

I've been wanting to try this series, but my library doesn't carry it either. Oh well, plenty of other books to read.

The 21st in the series, Beastly Things, is one of the two books I used one of my two precious 90% off Kobo codes on - supposed US "list" price of $25, Kobo price $15.XX, I got it for $1.55. It's a great series, and I had them all up through this new one, so I'm a happy camper...

Link (hopefully affiliate tag free, since I typed kobobooks.com in by hand and then searched from there):
