Kindle Touch/Calibre Help
Greetings,
Today I bought 3 books from Amazon on my Kindle Touch. When I connected to Calibre to add them to my library only 1 of the books shows on the device. I've removed the books and uploaded them again from my archives, disconnected and reconnected my KT, closed and reopened Calibre, and restarted my computer but they still don't show up. Any advice for solving this issue would be greatly appeciated!! For what it's worth, I recently got the 5.1.0 update for my KT and Updated Calibre to 0.8.47 Thanks!! Maggie |

Those are probably .azw3 files. Wait for the next calibre release, or find then using windows explorer, rename them to .azzw and then calibre will find them.

Downloaded the update for Calibre 0.8.48. The books that wouldn't show before are now there. I added them to my library, downloaded the metadata, changed the title of one book (to show it was 2nd book in a series) but when I sent it to the device it won't go. It's asking me to convert but then tells me it's drm (not asking to mess with this) and can't.
Will there be a future fix for this issue? Thanks!!!!

If you want to send azw3 files to the device, right click the device icon in the toolbar and select configure this device, then tick azw3 in the list of formats to send to the device. azw3 is not enabled by default as there is no guarantee that the device firmware is capable of displaying it.
