PLUGIN SKIN similar to Alfa Ebooks (virtual bookshelf)

It is possible add a plugin to view books as virtual bookshelf:

I doubt that this could be done via a plugin!

A 'grid' view of the library has been on the TODO list for a long time. No idea if/when it might appear.
