Help needed to not have any numbers when inserting series

Hi!

I have a problem that I want to use the series function but not have the number after, only the name of the series.

I have looked everywhere but cant seem to find any way to make that, I dont want that on all the series just the ones i specific say so?

That is not a possibility in the current Calibre.

You can set the number to Zero (which I use to indicate to me No Position in series)
I also use fractional series indexes to include things that happen in between

My Series[5.25], My Series[0.2], My Series[0] is valid

@Strongbow - it would be *highly* unlikely in my opinion that calibre will change the definition of a series column, as too many things would break. The series column in calibre is really a "sequence" column (which suits the 99% of books scenario), not a "group" which is more what you are after.

You've got a number of options - as theDucks says you can either use a fake number, or you can just create a text custom column to use as a secondary series column.
