				Touchscreen no longer working

My Touch edition froze up on me last night and I tried to power it off and back on. I had issues with it turning back on but after a few tries, it did come back on. At this point, I noticed the touch screen was no longer working, I couldn't open anything at all. No response to the stylus or anything. Soft reset - nothing changed Hard reset - nothing changed checked to see if firmware needed updating - nope Running Windows 8 otherwise I would try the PRS+ firmware to see if that fixes it. Any suggestions on what I might want to try to get this up or should I just give up and see if I can find another? At least I still have a PRS-300 as a backup. |

I seem to remember that if you got a crumb or something caught between the frame and the screen, it would make the touch screen freeze up. It's probably not the solution to your problem, but it's worth a look.
