My Kindle iPhone app apparently doesn't support X-Ray files but offers Book Extras for some Amazon books, which seem to be stored in a .plist file with a .be file extension.
I assume that Amazon generates these files from Shelfari content on the fly and I've got a couple of questions regarding this file format: 1. Is the .be format (or the X-Ray format) somewhere documented? 2. Are .be files also used in other Kindle apps? 3. Is it somehow possible to convert X-Ray files generated with the X-Ray file generator to the .be format or to automatically generate them from Shelfari content? |
