InDesign creates hypertext element that won't validate
I manually created an index in my ID CS5 epub and it works fine in the Kindle previewer and Adobe Digital Editions. However, when I try to validate at the idpf epub validator, every index item returns the following error: element "Hyperlink" not allowed anywhere.
It's obvious why the errors occur: ID created an element entitled Hypertext that surrounds the link text. Here's a sample viewed from Dreamweaver: ![]() Yes, I can manually search and remove all of these unnecessary element names, but does anyone know a way I can instruct ID to not put them there in the first place? Am I doing something wrong when I set up my hyperlinks to text anchors in the book? |
