Start-up language screen
Every time I start up my Opus the language selection screen appears. After selecting English and waiting 2 mins, it starts loading up my books but not in folder view. I tried plugging it in, charging, reseting, etc. multiple times.
On top of this its refusing to read my SD card (where all my book are). I was just about to finish Hunger Games too.......... Please and thank you in advance! |

I think it could help you browsing this Bookeen-subforum as we had this failure a few times already. But unfortunately I don't remember if there was a solution.
Which firmware do you run? Have you tried formatting your Opus? Or using another sd-card? And have you added some new books before this failure happened? Sometimes the Opus reacts very strange if there are some problems with some books. |

Had this one with the odyssey a few days ago.
I had re-fomaed the memory in the frong format. Fix usually is formating internal memory (after saving the usefull files of course !) |

Thank you guys for the help!!
I ended up just wiping the whole thing and upgrading the firmware. What ever the problem was is gone. Thanks again. |

How about this? I found it on Bookeens website.
The Cybook does not remember the last read page or ask me to select the language everytime I turn it on We invite you to run a Scandisk of your Cybook in order to detect and correct the possible errors: 1) Connect the device to your computer using the provided USB cable 2) Click on the driver Cybook Gen3/Opus and select ‘Properties’ 3) Then click on ‘Tools’. In the ‘Tools’ menu, click on ‘check now’. Select the two options and start the scandisk. With a Mac: Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility/Select the disk "Cybook…”/Verify |
