Thanks!

Thanks, VaporPunk! It wouldn't have occurred to me to look for a new Vonnegut book....
And to ramble on-- a discussion in MR "Discussions" forum about a library banning Orsen Scott Card's Ender's Game reminded me of a school system in Missouri that banned Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse 5 last year after a parent's complaint. With the help of a donor, the Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library offered to send a free copy to any student of the school requesting one. Now, that's a class response!
I went to the website of the KVML to confirm the details, and noticed that they now have a program to assist in resisting attempts to ban other books from school libraries. Sounds good to me, and I sent a donation via paypal. If anyone's inclined to do the same, just google "Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library" and the process is pretty simple.

Off topic a bit, but New Mexico writer Rudolfo Anaya (several of whose books I have scanned for a University of NM Press project), has found some of his books banned in Arizona since they feature -- gasp! -- hispanics! see http://www.latinousa.org/2012/02/09/17101/ which includes an mp3 interview, and/or http://alibi.com/news/40600/Fired-Up.html from our local weekly alternative newspaper. TV reports showed him and his organization boxing up books to be distributed free to students in the wilds of the 48th state (NM is the 47th, or it may be the other way around).

Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library & book banning

That's very cool of you, KentE! Most people wouldn't think to take that extra step.
