Just Saying Hi!

Just want to say hi. Great forum! I am very new to the Sony Reader (actually am getting it for Christmas), and I know very little about these and am trying to learn as fast as I can, so that when I unwrap the reader I can get busy!

Which are the best threads to understand conversion? I have read through a few threads but most of the information about conversion just goes right over my head! I am no techie and probably need to be walked through this. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to MobileRead, rosie_james!

For conversion ... I think I'd point you at the wiki to begin with. The Sony Reader section has a good basic discussion (especially since DaleDe recently re-vamped it ).

Also, I'd suggest you look at the sections on BookDesigner and Libprs500 as they're both excellent converter apps. They each link back to forum discussion threads, so there's a lot of information behind them.

And, of course, ask specific questions as you come up with them.

And have fun with your new toy!
