If you are not satisfied with your android tablet experience maybe you should back this project. Really looks interesting and I think takes Andoroid where they should be instead of where it is.
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...our-android-ta Chameleon Benefits Chameleon helps you do things faster, bringing the most relevant information and apps up front. So you don't have to dig around. Chameleon is super easy to customize. You can quickly set up Home Screens, Widgets, and App Trays, all with a few gestures. Chameleon is integrated with Android. We kept what was working and improved the rest. The result is an Android Tablet experience that is as unique as you are. What People are Saying The Verge (Android Army) "Wow, this is what a tablet should look like!" Android Authority "lets you interact with your tablet in a completely novel way." "We bet it’ll sell like hotcakes." Droid Life "Other UI concepts that had the Android community pumped up, only to be bought out and never see the light of day. Let us hope that does not happen to this newest concept, Chameleon for Android." Brief Mobile "we’re rooting for the folks at Teknision, because this looks like a beautiful and useful concept interface." Gadgetsteria “Android Launcher, “Chameleon”, Is the stuff dreams are made of” Minimum Tablet Requirements Android 3.2 (HoneyComb) and newer Device Type Android Tablet Display 1280 x 800 and above Orientation Landscape |

That looks really cool, let's hope they make it to the android market. I read that they're a bit short on cash.

I saw this on Android Police. It does look really good. They were wondering why Teknision couldn't find a buyer and needed to go through Kickstarter. Kind of makes me hesitate too.

I have to admit, that's a really cool concept.
Much like VP up above, I'm curious as to why they couldn't get proper funding (not to say that Kickstarter isn't "proper"). |
