Sugarsync on rooted T1

Hi, new owner of a T1 here! Just installed the minimal root package. Nice! Still learning my way around. Sideloaded a sugarsync apk file via dropbox and installed it, and figured how to get it on the desk top. But every time I start it, I go to my sugarsync page but then a popup appears saying upgrade now OK. No way to get rid of it. Press ok, and sugarsync goes into Force Close.

Any idea what I can do to fix this?

Thanks!

if you get the latest version, i'm guessing the message won't come up and it'll work. i have sugarsync working on my sony but it's not useful since they force you to use the sony internal partition. i use foldershare to sync to sugarsync cloud as a work around b/c it allows for syncing on any drive.

foldershare looks interesting, I'd not seen that before. eta: looks like it won't work for XP.

I've given up on sugarsync for the Sony. I'll use dropbox for downloading, and USB for sideloading, and when my SD card gets here, I plan to load and organize that and then insert it into the reader. Hopefully my folder organization will work well, doing it that way.
