What's wrong with my epub ebook?
My epub ebook has been behaving strangely since Day 1.

After opening it in Calibre, I advance the pages by clicking the purple button with the arrowhead pointing to the right.

The counter on the top left-hand corner reads 11.0/469. If I click the page-advance button once, the counter jumps to 210.0/469. If I click the page-back button once, the counter reads 208.7/469. No amount of clicking the page-back button will take me back to 11.0/469.

What's wrong with my epub ebook? Is there a fix?

hard to say without more info on the original book format and any conversions you may have attempted. Could be anything from poorly formed xhtml to a broken spine.

Run you book through Flightcrew and resolve the (I expect, Huge) list of problems.
A poorly formed book will perform... Poorly

TRy doing an epub to epub conversion, that often has salutary effects on problems like this.
