Anyone know a source for "Mutant 59: The Plastic Eaters"?
ebook source of course...
![]() If you ever read it you will know it's not a super novel but I read it years ago and it was sort of fun and in it's way kinda thought provoking. I have been on a mini-marathon watching the TV series ReGenesis...it has, ahem, re-kindled (I knoooow, I'm sorry for the pun) my interest in re-reading the book. It was just a fun read bit of speculative fiction where a bacteria mutates as ends up eating anything plastic on the planet. ??? |

They based an episode of Doomwatch on that. I remember seeing it.

I *think* I still have my copy. Might have gotten purged in the last move. If not, it's in one of the many boxes in storage.

I don't think it's available as an ebook.
But there are some very cheap copies available: http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/d/.../mutant-59.htm |

neko: mine is in a box somewhere in my storage too.
Patricia: Kinda the same conclusion I came to...if I was motivated I guess I could OCR it but that is like, well....work! jadon: how cool. I never was aware of the Doomwatch TV series. Need to make an effort to find it somewhere. Love that sort of stuff. |
