Flashplayer
Trying to watch a site that uses Flashplayer and shows a download Flash Player label. When I try to download I end up at a mobile site with a message "there are no Android Phones associated with this account".. Well of course I dont have an Android phone I have a KOBO VOX and would like to get Flash Player to work on my Vox. Thanks

Greetings All; Have used original Kindle, own an original Kobo and a Kobo Touch and finally bought Kobo Vox. Looking forward to the facility of the Vox and have moved my Kindle books into my Vox. 1st vox seized up after 14 hrs but replacement now has 5 days of exploratory service. Love being able to play my music and read my book while curled up in a comfortable chair. Would like to know if there is a way to bring flash player into Vox.

Bravo! This is much friendlier and doesn't come across as a demand from a new member. Now, fellow MobileRead members, what forum can we steer him to so he can get some help and advice? Don (Moderator) |

Hi This is hiwheeler, new Vox user.
I had the same problem with Flash Player. I contacted Kobo and it would seem that they do not subsbcribe to android market and have no plans to do so. This means that incidentally, you cannot down load v4 of the Zinio software for use on the Vox, nor can you access BBC iplayer content! Any other way we can install flash player?? hiwheeler. |

I installed Flash Player 11 on my Vox. I can watch BBC iplayer okay. However; when I try to watch live BBC programs it tells me I do not have the Flash Player! I have installed one of the free internet TV apps (from Android Market). That works ok. I get about 100 TV Channels - but no British ones. However; many of the foreign ones are in English, such as Euronews and several USA and Canadian stations.
