Alcandian Quest by Mary Wine, is 1st in her Alcandians series of f/m/m sci-fi alien warrior erotic ménage romances (apparently they're all like that, according to the blurbs), free courtesy of publisher Ellora's Cave.

This, apparently, seems to have a fair amount of actual world-building and perhaps plot, according to one of the reader reviews which comments about how long it took the characters to start having sex.
