IQ Hy all, IQ701 big problem!

Hello all.
I upgraded the firmware to the official version 2.1.2 of the IQ701.

This one: 20120103_user_EU_2.1.2_PB701SWUPDATE.zip

Downloaded here

The Wi-Fi has stopped working.
the problem has happened to someone else?
or have any suggestions for me?
I state that I am at my first experience with the Android OS, and I do not know what to do.

update:
I did the firmware "downgrade" to version 2.1.1 ....

the problem remains

to be more precise, in settings I can enable Wi-fi, but when I press Wi-fi Settings to start the scan, it terminate after few seconds, and at the bottom of the screen appear a ballon (well, a sort of) tellin'

"Unable to scan for Networks".

after a 2 or 3 automatic attempts appear a window that say:

Sorry! Activity Wi-fi settings (in application settings) is not responding

or

Sorry! Application settings (in process com.android.settings) is not responding

someone please know what that means? or how to fix this thing?

Try a factory reset, that should help

Factory reset yes, then go back to 2.06 it's more stable with wi-fi

@ Troll05: thanks, this is something that I had not thought: I had taken for granted that it did automatically updating the firmware!

@ musicman2523: I'm already using 2.0.6, it was the next step to be able to connect ....
But I want to try Troll05's hint first, 'cos my IQ with 2.0.6 seems slower than before...

Anyway, thank you all again for your valuable help, I'll know to you how it ends.
