Can I remove the title/author page?

Is there an option in conversion to miss out the author and title page when converting?

I would prefer to go straight into the text on the first page.

I am converting from rtf to lrf.

Any help would be appreciated.

Do you mean missing out the generated cover and the book jacket? If so, the following combination of lrf conversion options works for me to have page 1 of the lrf be the first page of text

remove any cover you have set on the Edit Metadata page
uncheck box 'Insert metadata as page at start of book' in Convert - StructureDetection
