Writing a Speech.(Want to hear from authors preferably)

Hello,
I'm currently writing a persuasive speech for my college speech class.
My topic is Ebook vs Pbook (Going Pro E, although I'm Pro P).
I'd like to hear from all the authors here on the subject of:
Is it easier to get an Ebook published over a Pbook?

I have the page about how to post Ebooks to smashswords.com, But I can not seem to find out how to get a Pbook published.
Help please,
Spock96

It's just as easy to do either, but paper costs more and your distribution is a lot lower. I can get paperbacks printed at about £2 each in batches of 100 but I need to hand sell them at gigs. Ebooks, you just upload it and forget about it.

Is ease of publishing a plus or minus?

Definitely a plus. How many stories have we lost because the people who wrote them never managed to get it onto the right desk at the right time? How many people who could have developed into good writers if they'd stuck at it long enough gave up after a few rejections?
