Can I find my PID?
So far I have mainly bought books for my Kindle on Amazon, the rest have been DRM free. However, I've found a book that I would like to have that is in mobi format, hence readable on my Kindle, but the saite requires me to enter a PID. Where can I find it on the Kindle? And since I have to sideload it, do I need to have the same PID on my Kindle4PC? Or can I do a Whispersync once I have it on the PC?

A Kindle does not have a PID that can be used at a Mobipocket bookstore, I'm afraid.
You could buy the book using the Windows Mobipocket Reader, use the usual tools to remove the DRM from that, and then transfer the DRM-free book to your Kindle. |

Meaning that you have to install Mobipocket Reader on your PC? Or are there other versions available? I thought the Kindle4PC etc came with PID? Don't know why I thought so, perhaps read it somewhere. But if Mobipcket Reader is the only way to go...

Windows Mobipocket Reader is the way that I've done it personally. I'm afraid I don't know if it can be don with K4PC.

Windows MobiPocket Reader is the way to go. Click on Help -> About to get the PID.

Downloaded. Will give it a try. The longer I read the more complicated it gets. Should be the other way around.
