The stories in this collection are: Tell Me a Story; Golden Vanity; Connecticat (with Raul S. Reyes); Blood Calls to Blood; Ice Princess; Weather Witch; Things That Go Grump in the Night; and A Prince Among Frogs. The last three have overlapping characters and form sort of a casual mini-series. These stories were originally published between 1983 and 1996 in various anthologies and magazines, edited by Marion Zimmer Bradley, Esther M. Friesner, Martin H. Greenberg, Andre Norton, and Jane Yolen.
Also saw several by Bob Mayer, three by Lee Goldberg (one with Paul Levine), a repeat from Blake Crouch, amongst the freebies today.

So, it LOOKED like today to me because it was 12:15 this morning my time but was really yesterday, because it was earlier Seattle time. Now I get it.

Amazon needs to get on Eastern time like all the other important companies by which I mean me

This presumes that people on EST are up on their computers from midnight to 3 am...mostly true for college students, not 40ish moms like myself. Basically, it means I miss late-breaking deals. Which I usually don't sweat since there are many deals, but I really like MZB and her affiliated authors.
