Lost my books

My grandson was playing Angry Birds on my Kobo Vox while I was shopping. When I got back to the car, hubby handed me the Vox; he couldn't get it to turn on. I finaly did, but my Kindle app and all my Kindle books were gone. I downloaded the Kindle app again. Is there any way to get my Kindle books back? I logged into my Amazon account, but didn't see anything that showed my past purchases.

When I first open the kindle App I have a menu at the top
Home / On Device / Archive / Store

Clicking on Archive shows me my books. I have version 3.3.0.405

Thanks. Learned my lesson, dont let a 6 year old hold the ereader and for sure dont expect a husband to pay attention. All books are back now.
