Keyboard
Anyone have as quirky a keyboard as I do? I updated to Ermine quite awhile ago, so I doubt that is the problem. I will hit a letter, and my PE will type a letter that is clear across the other side of the keyboard. Like, I will type and i and a w will appear. Also, I can choose a word from the dictionary banner and a completely irrelevent word will appear on the screen. I have found the keyboard to be at its worse if I hold the PE with my left hand like holding an open book at the bottom of the binding. It took me three times longer than it should have to type up this post because I had to go back and make so many corrections. I looked for an adjustment setting to change the sensitivity of the keyboard, but was not able to find one. BTW, I do have a screen protector sheet on the touch screen, but I put that on Day 2 of owning this thing. I have had it about six months, now and use it almost daily.

When's the last time you calibrated your tablet?
I personally like the Hacker's Keyboard: http://code.google.com/p/hackerskeyboard/ |

Thanks, obsessed2. Calibrating helped slightly, but not by much. I downloaded and installed the hacker''s keyboard. I am typing eith it now. Without going back and making corrections, you can probably see that it is a touch better, buat I am syill having problems. Most misspellings seem to be with not hitting a key directly and grtting the letter next to it (except for the eord "buat" in the previous sentence). It is going to take awhile to get used to this keyboard. Thanks for your help, as always.

I like the Hacker's Keyboard because it is easily customized. One thing that may help is under Settings, Language & Keyboard, Hacker's Keyboard Settings, change the keyboard height in portrait and landscape to a larger percentage and the keyboard will fill up more of the screen and make hitting the incorrect key less likely, especially if you don't use the stylus.
